What Study Spaces are Available?
- There are around 70 study spaces, whereof 2 with PC/screen (see devices).
- The study spaces can be used at any time without prior reservation.
What Infrastructure Can I Use Here?
Borrow and Return
- Self-checkout station in entrance area
- Book trolley for picking up reserved items in entrance area
- Book returns box in entrance area
- Second book returns box located by the staircase to the entrance (between KOL-G-203 and 204), accessible during main building opening hours
- Please note that items will not be cleared from the library account until the next working day (check due date).
Devices
- 1 PC workstation
- 1 PC workstation with R, R Studio und IBM SPSS
- Printer (UZH Print Plus instructions)
Lockers
- 68 lockers (free of charge, 28 days loan, reservation possible via swisscovery)
- Locker keys can be borrowed at UB Philosophy (KOL-F-114).

Information about the Location and Collection
The UB Economics is in the main building of the University of Zurich (KOL-H-303c). Access to the location is on floor G via the staircase to the right of the main lecture hall (between KOL-G-203 and 204).
There are an open stacks and a closed stacks with about 75'000 mostly borrowable monographs and about 70 current journal titles. The collection basically covers the entire range of scientific textbooks and journals on modern economics.
Items from the closed stacks must be ordered via swisscovery (order deadline 1 day).
