In the autumn semester 24, we offer UZH students and researchers a wide range of courses on the scientific handling of information and Open Science.
In addition to practical knowledge, there is also plenty of fun to be had: For example, you can attend various games and gaming events as part of Games Month, or learn to sew in the library on the UZH campus Oerlikon.

Online and uncomplicated, you will receive valuable input on the topics:

The writing process leading up to the finished thesis is not always easy. Every Thursday until midnight, we will advise you on problems with writing flow, methodology, motivation, etc. Personal and uncomplicated. |
Every month, you can learn about or deepen your knowledge of an aspect of Open Science and ask experts questions directly. |
Library rooms are learning spaces - not just for academic material. On three sewing evenings for beginners, you can complete your own textile project with our sewing specialists. |
We organise games and gamer events at various UB locations over the course of a month: sometimes board games, sometimes digital, sometimes party games. For all game lovers. |
Discover exciting new technologies in this series of hands-on workshops. |
In our Tiny Maker Space at Irchel, we have a 3D printer that UZH members can use free of charge. Learn how to use the printer in the introductory course. |
Further and subject-specific events can be found on an ongoing basis in the UB Agenda
