On July 11-15, the UZH Open Science Summer School 2022 will take place for the second time, offering researchers a week-long exchange with experts on topics related to Open Science.
Today's research environment is increasingly data-driven and in most academic disciplines competencies related to data management have become indispensable. In addition, the shift toward Open Science is advancing rapidly. Funders are demanding that research results be made fully publicly available. Knowledge and science should become more open, transparent and collaborative.
At the UZH Open Science Summer School from July 11 to 15, researchers will gain practical and theoretical insight into the world of Open Data, research data management and Open Access. For one week, you will not only explore the opportunities that Open Science offers, but also the (disciplinary) challenges that can come with it.
The Summer School is organized by the "Open Science Services" team of the UB and ZB together with UZH Graduate Campus. As the event is already fully booked, registration is no longer possible. However, the presentations will be posted on the OS Summer School website. There you will also find videos of last year's edition. We will also cover the event on Twitter
If you have specific questions about Open Data, Open Access publications or handling sensitive data, you will find a lot of helpful information on the topic on our website (english version coming soon). Our experts at Open Science Services will also be happy to help you directly:
